You will hone your critical thinking, develop the ability to present, communicate, and apply critical decision-making skills on a global scale. Join IEPS to gain the knowledge, tools, and perspective to shape the world of tomorrow.
Application deadlines
early-bird: 28 February 2026
regular: 30 April 2026
Important note for visa-seeking students: Please read about the visa process before applying. You are responsible for organizing your legal stay in Czechia and the visa process can be quite lengthy. We therefore strongly recommend the early-bird deadline.
Program description
IEPS is built on two specialisations – International Economics and International Politics. This will allow you, alongside fulfilling common compulsory courses, to focus on one of the disciplines. Our courses foster interdisciplinary critical thinking for social developments in the world and increase sensitivity to ethical challenges in decision-making and policy design in a contemporary environment.
As an IEPS student, you also have the unique opportunity to take advantage of a prestigious double-degree program in cooperation with the University of Konstanz in Germany. If you opt for this path, you’ll spend your first year studying in Prague and your second year in Konstanz, gaining both academic and international experience. In just two years, you can earn degrees from two renowned universities and broaden your professional and personal horizons.
Prior study of political science or economics is not required. However, a background in mathematics and statistics is an advantage if you want to specialise in economics.
