In this section, you will find everything you need to know about the admissions to BA and MA study programs at our faculty. Please read carefully the information below. Before applying, make sure to check the Application Guide and FAQ we compiled for you.

Application deadlines for the 2027/28 intake
Early-bird deadline
28 February 2027
Applications for the academic year 2027/28 intake will open on 1 November 2026.
Regular deadline
30 April 2027
Applications for the academic year 2027/28 intake will open on 1 November 2026.
How to apply
Applications are online only
The admission process for our Bachelor’s and Master’s programs is online only and there is no standardised entrance exam. We will evaluate your application solely on the basis of the documents you will have submitted. All documents need to be translated to English or Czech. For filling the application, use the Application Guide that will walk you through the process step by step.
You will find the list of required documents in the online application and also on the page of each individual study program. Please check the admission requirements carefully as different programs can have different requirements. Only complete application will be considered. If you want to add other non-mandatory documents that you feel will strengthen your application, you can upload them in the “other” field of the application.
You can apply to as many programs as you want, but you must submit a separate application for each.
In case you want to make changes to an already submitted application, please email us at admissions@fsv.cuni.cz – do NOT start another application for the same program! Duplicite applications cannot be accepted.
Personal data will be used exclusively for organizing the admission process and program enrolments.
Application fee
The application fee is currently 940 CZK (approximately 38 EUR).
The fee must be paid by the application deadline you are aiming for.
We cannot process the applications that are not paid in time.
The application fee must be paid in full either by card or via bank transfer. No cash payments are possible. You will find the payment instructions at the end of your online application form.
There is no possibility of a fee waiver. The application fee is separate from the tuition fee; therefore, application fee must be paid even by the scholarship applicants.
When will you know your results?
All applications are evaluated by an admissions committee based on the submitted documents and materials. Successful applicants will be informed as soon as possible, within 3-4 weeks after the respective deadline.
