Our buildings: Jinonice Campus

You can find us in three buildings in Prague: in the new Jinonice mini-campus, in the Hollar building on Smetanovo nábřeží, and in Opletalova Street near Wenceslas Square. All our buildings can be comfortably reached by public transport. In this post, we will introduce you to the largest of them, the Jinonice Campus.

Our new campus hosts study programs in political, international and sociological studies. It is located in Jinonice, about 20 minutes from the city centre by metro. In addition to 5 large lecture halls and 20 seminar rooms, you will find the pride of our campus: a spacious, modern library.

The library offers up to 40,000 volumes on the shelves, more than 5,000 electronic books, and over 165 specialised electronic databases. It has 167 study places, 11 individual and 6 team study rooms, night study rooms, and a relaxation zone. You can also relax in the bistro UKafé and in two spacious foyers with comfy seating.

The Radio and Television Laboratory, one of the most modern in Europe, is available in the Jinonice Campus not only to students of journalism. It offers a large studio with sound direction, a small podcast studio and a keying studio, which students can use to practise working in virtual studios.
