Going Abroad with FSV UK
Studying at our faculty in Prague is by itself international, as you will be a part of a diverse community of over 1 200 international students of more than 100 nationalities. However, you can make your time with us even more international! Some of our study programs are joint-degree or double-degree which means the studies are divided among two or more universities in different countries. You can also choose from a wide range of student mobility options.
Joint-degree programs
Currently, we offer four Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD) – joint-degree programmes operated within consortiums of prestigious European universities. Practically, it means you will spend your studies in two or more European countries, Czechia being one of them. The resulting diploma is then co-signed by all participating universities.

Double-degree programs
You can also choose a double degree option, meaning that you will study one part of the program at FSV UK and the other part at another partner university. After successful graduation, you will then receive two diplomas. Some of our programs are fully double-degree (all students will study at two universities) and some offer it as an option.
Study stays abroad
FSV UK has several hundred Erasmus+ agreements with partner universities, for example the University of St. Andrews, Heidelberg University, University of Copenhagen, University of Amsterdam, or Uppsala University. Through Erasmus+, you can go to study stays, practical internships and short-term PhD mobilities. Each year, we send about 500 students abroad so we are experienced in supporting you before, during and after your stay.
Erasmus+ is not the only program through which you can go abroad to. For example, we are part of the Aktion network which allows you to go to Austria to write your thesis, and CEEPUS will let you go to countries in Central Europe and the Balkans.
